Key Responsibilities

  • Contract Management
    • Develop and implement effective contract management strategies to ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
    • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including legal, procurement, and project management teams, to facilitate effective contract development and execution.
  • Negotiation and Risk Management
    • Provide expert guidance on contract negotiations, ensuring favorable terms and compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
    • Conduct thorough reviews of contractual documents, identifying and mitigating risks while maximizing opportunities for value creation.
  • Stakeholder Management
    • Serve as a primary point of contact for external partners and vendors, fostering positive relationships and resolving contract-related issues in a timely manner.

Requirements

  • Education
    • Bachelor's degree or higher in Business Administration or a related field.
  • Experience
    • 5+ years of experience in contracting and procurement for onshore oil and gas drilling projects, preferably with an oil and gas operator in Australia.
  • Skills
    • Ability to lead negotiations for contracts, ensuring favorable terms and conditions for the organization while mitigating risks.
    • Ability to identify and assess potential risks associated with contracts, implementing strategies to mitigate and manage risks effectively.
    • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
    • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
