Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Contracts Advisor to join our team at Rec Consultancy. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading and managing the end-to-end contract management process, from initial drafting to contract closeout.
Key Responsibilities
- Contract Management
- Develop and implement effective contract management strategies to ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including legal, procurement, and project management teams, to facilitate effective contract development and execution.
- Negotiation and Risk Management
- Provide expert guidance on contract negotiations, ensuring favorable terms and compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
- Conduct thorough reviews of contractual documents, identifying and mitigating risks while maximizing opportunities for value creation.
- Stakeholder Management
- Serve as a primary point of contact for external partners and vendors, fostering positive relationships and resolving contract-related issues in a timely manner.
Requirements
- Education
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Business Administration or a related field.
- Experience
- 5+ years of experience in contracting and procurement for onshore oil and gas drilling projects, preferably with an oil and gas operator in Australia.
- Skills
- Ability to lead negotiations for contracts, ensuring favorable terms and conditions for the organization while mitigating risks.
- Ability to identify and assess potential risks associated with contracts, implementing strategies to mitigate and manage risks effectively.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
