Job Title: Painter and Blaster

Celotti Workforce is seeking skilled Painters and Blasters for immediate start in Darwin, NT. This is an ongoing opportunity with full-time hours and competitive pay.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and coat surfaces with the correct coating and type of paint.
  • Treat equipment with respect and report defects to supervisor immediately.
  • Maintain paint stock inventory in line with business and statutory requirements.
  • Clean, sand, sandblast, scrape, brush, etch and burn surfaces in preparation for spraying.
  • Masking windows, doors and other nearby surfaces and equipment needing protection from spray.
  • Dis-assembly and re-assembly of components as required to carry out painting and blasting functions.
  • Mix materials for proper application.
  • Erect ladders, staging and other items to gain access to different areas.
  • Repair surfaces to be sprayed/painted, including plastering and sheetrock finishing.
  • Adjust equipment to maintain proper spray application and clean equipment.
  • Carry out test procedures to confirm compliance of work with relevant procedures and standards.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • White card.
  • Work at heights (Beneficial).
  • Confined space (Beneficial).
  • Drivers license.
  • Brush hands, paint and blast, mechanical prep experience.
