About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Exercise Physiologist to join our team at Mt Wilga Private Hospital, a leading specialist rehabilitation facility in Sydney's Upper North Shore.

As an Exercise Physiologist, you will be responsible for assessing patients, prescribing exercises, and supervising patient exercise programs in our day rehabilitation and outpatient settings.

You will work with a diverse range of patients, including those with orthopaedic, neurological, cardiac, pulmonary, oncology, chronic pain, and reconditioning conditions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver therapy in individualized, group, and hydrotherapy settings
  • Work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Requirements
  • Degree in Exercise Physiology (or equivalent)
  • Current Accreditation with ESSA
  • Registration with SIRA (or willingness to obtain)
  • Minimum of 1 year's experience working as an Exercise Physiologist
  • Completion of the NDIS 'Quality, Safety & You' e-learning module
  • Valid NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (NDISWC)
  • Current NDIS Workers Check
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • High standard of customer service and a team approach
  • Commitment to professional development and maintenance of current evidence-based practice
  • Understanding of quality improvement principles
  • Flexible and positive approach to work
  • Experience working in a hospital or rehabilitation setting (desirable)
