Legal Advisor

We are seeking a qualified and experienced legal professional to provide high-quality legal services to our clients.

• This is a challenging role that requires the ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing legal advice, assistance, and representation to clients throughout the region.

• Key responsibilities include:
• Providing legal advice, assistance, and representation to clients as part of an integrated service.
• Supporting other staff members in their roles and participating in training and development activities.
• Developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders and community leaders.

• A practicing certificate in Western Australia (restricted or unrestricted).
• Casework and advocacy experience in generalist areas of law.
• Experience working in a community legal practice setting or community-based organization in remote and rural Australia.
• Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills.
• Critical thinking and analytical skills.
• Ability to manage workload and meet deadlines.
• Independence and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Commitment to principles of social justice and working effectively with Indigenous people.
• Personal resilience and adaptability.
