Job Overview

The Senior Radio Frequency and Systems Specialist will be responsible for the end-to-end technical build, site installation, testing, and commissioning of ionosonde solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage technical activities for the build, site installation, testing, and commissioning of ionosonde equipment and associated IT networks and software configurations.
  • Develop site installation plans, conduct site acceptance tests, and prepare operational safety documents as required by the project.
  • Collaborate with project managers to manage the rollout schedule and identify risks and mitigation actions.
  • Transition operations documentation and support the transition to operations in accordance with business processes and quality management systems.
  • Perform technical work within allocated technical authority.
  • Provide guidance on technical aspects and assist in equipment retrieval, spares reallocation, decommissioning, and disposal.
  • Work with vendors, service providers, architecture, infrastructure, security, network, and delivery teams to ensure timely delivery and quality standards are met.
  • Identify and report risks, assumptions, issues, and dependencies to project managers.
