Job Overview

A wastewater engineer is responsible for planning, designing and overseeing the installation of collection systems, sewage treatment plants, filtration systems, pump stations, storage reservoirs and water mains.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and construction oversight of various municipal wastewater infrastructure components including sewers, tanks and pumps
  • Develop and implement effective strategies for efficient wastewater management and minimize environmental impact
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely project delivery and compliance with regulatory requirements
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in municipal wastewater engineering
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
