Cloud Native Backend Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Native Backend Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering organization, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable backend systems using Golang, with a focus on microservices architecture and cloud-native development.

  • Develop robust and scalable backend systems using Golang and related frameworks such as Revel, Gin, or Echo.

  • Design and implement microservices that communicate via message brokers like RabbitMQ or Apache Kafka.

  • Integrate with API gateways, authentication layers, and external systems.

  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and implement version control best practices using Git.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather integration requirements and translate them into high-quality technical solutions.

  • Contribute to technical decisions, best practices, and system architecture.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • 8-10 years of overall software engineering experience.

  • Strong hands-on experience with Golang and relevant frameworks.

  • A deep understanding of microservices architecture and messaging systems.

  • Experience with API gateway integration and authentication mechanisms such as OAuth2 or JWT.

  • Proficiency with CI/CD pipelines and version control tools like Git.

  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.

  • Strong communication skills and experience working in Agile, cross-functional teams.

Nice to Have

The following skills are nice to have but not required:

  • Experience with containerisation and orchestration tools like Docker or Kubernetes.

  • Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools.

  • Prior work in high-scale, distributed systems environments.
