Our business unit is currently growing with new workshops, facilities & future development planned to commence in the coming months. We are seeking a highly motivated Heavy Diesel Mechanic - Drill Rigs to join our team.

About The Role

Working FIFO from Perth, your primary responsibility will be to maximise operation and product reliability on the fleet of Caterpillar blast hole drills working with clients across Western Australia to deliver to the customer's standards and expectations.

You will be equipped with the latest training on new model equipment to ensure you are set up to succeed. You will work with a highly supportive group and be part of a continuous improvement and solutions network team.

Roster: FIFO - 8 Days, 6 Off, 12.5 Hrs, inclusive of a 30 min break.

To be successful the following is required:

  • Australian-recognised Heavy Diesel or Mobile Plant Mechanic Trade certificate
  • Previous experience within field service or mine site environment
  • Demonstrate technical aptitude and experience on surface blast hole drill rigs
  • Flexibility and willingness to travel various mine sites
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to establish and maintain successful working relationships.
  • Strong communication skills and a dedication to safe work practices
  • OEM or dealership experience is advantageous.
