About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced nurse to join our team as an Associate Nurse Unit Manager at Elmhaven Aged Care - Streaky Bay. As a key member of our nursing team, you will work closely with the Nurse Unit Manager to lead and manage the delivery of high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide person-centred clinical nursing care and individual case management.
- Monitor patient care plans to achieve optimal outcomes.
- Oversee the provision of nursing care and ensure adherence to best practices.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to enhance patient outcomes and experiences.
- Actively participate in clinical leadership and decision-making processes.
What We're Looking For:
- You must be registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia, and hold or be eligible to hold a current practicing certificate.
- 3 years post registration experience or currently classified as a Clinical Nurse/Midwife
- Prior experience of giving supervision to student nurses, enrolled nurses and less experienced registered nurses.
- Use your effective communication, problem solving, conflict resolution and negotiation skills to maintain a cohesive multidisciplinary team and resolve local or immediate nursing care problems.
- Ability to be creative, innovative, and flexible when approaching issues with the healthcare setting and be able to prioritise your workload
- Knowledge of contemporary professional nursing/midwifery and health care issues, and Quality Improve Systems as applied to a health care setting
