Early Childhood Education Opportunity

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Early Childhood Teacher to foster wellbeing, advocacy, and excellence in early childhood education.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver and embed National Quality Standards into programming with a commitment to best practice.
  • Develop and implement developmentally appropriate programs for 3-5 year-old children.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills are essential.
  • Current knowledge and understanding of Child Safe Standards (CCYP), Information Sharing, and MARAM reforms is required.
  • A recognised Early Childhood Teaching Qualification as approved by ACECQA is necessary.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Thorough knowledge of young children's needs, the community, families, and early childhood education principles.
  • Ability to demonstrate excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Current understanding of the Child Safe Standards (CCYP), Information Sharing, and MARAM reforms.

Mitchell Shire employees are supported to engage in ongoing professional development. Kindergarten education teams receive additional programs and supports through School Readiness Funding (SRF) menu items. Salaries are pro-rata and dependent on qualifications and experience as per the Early Education Employees Agreement 2020 (EEEA).
