The primary focus of this role will be to process and gather information to support the assessment and decision making in relation to applications.

This strategic thinker will develop and implement a range of new processes, working across multiple projects simultaneously. The position requires the ability to build, communicate with, and maintain sensitive relationships with all stakeholders.

Key responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the full life cycle of projects to meet departmental objectives, supporting project development, delivery, and completion within resourcing, timeline, and budget parameters.
  • Develop and implement robust processes and procedures to deliver high-quality services and supports.
  • Provide advice to stakeholders and prepare reports, briefs, and correspondence on various matters.
  • Maintain knowledge of Victorian, national, and international legislative and policy reform directions relevant to issues arising from other redress schemes.
  • Keep accurate records of work activities in accordance with legislative requirements and the department's policies.
  • Demonstrate how actions and outcomes impact clients and the department's service delivery.
  • Provide specialist administrative and corporate support expertise.
  • Contribute to project monitoring and evaluation to ensure departmental objectives are met.

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • Demonstrated experience in building and maintaining positive relationships with individuals in a sensitive manner.
  • A high level of proficiency in departmental platforms, systems, and IT software.
  • Experience in developing operational procedures or undertaking assessment processes is highly desirable.
  • Ability to undergo a National Police Check clearance.

This role offers a competitive salary of approximately $85,000 per annum, commensurate with experience, plus benefits and opportunities for career growth.
