The SKA Observatory is a cutting-edge radio astronomy facility that will revolutionise our understanding of the Universe and the laws of fundamental physics.
Enabled by state-of-the-art technology, it promises to have a major impact on society, in science and beyond.
In Australia, it is collaborating with CSIRO to operate and support the construction of the low frequency telescope on Wajarri Yamaji Country.
You'll work within the Assembly, Integration and Verification team, contributing to the integration and testing of this project—being built on Wajarri Yamaji Country in remote Western Australia.
As a key member of this team, you'll lead the development of system-level integration and verification plans and provide technical guidance across the team.
This role offers the opportunity to collaborate globally, travel occasionally, and be part of one of the most significant science infrastructure projects in the world.
- Lead the development and execution of Systems AIV Plans aligned with Integration & Verification Strategies.
- Define and manage Continuous Integration & Verification flows, including signal chain validation and use case development.
- Develop performance analysis tools and diagnose system-level issues across the SKA-Low Telescope and ITF.
- Represent AIV in product integration, supplier training, system acceptance, and milestone reviews.
- Collaborate across global, multi-disciplinary teams using Lean Agile processes to plan, prioritise, and deliver project outcomes.
