Cloud Solutions Architect for Startups

About the Role
">We are seeking an experienced Cloud Solutions Architect to join our Worldwide Specialist Organization (WWSO) Startup team at Amazon. As a Cloud Solutions Architect, you will be responsible for helping startups scale quickly and cost-effectively on AWS. Your primary goal will be to recommend the right technologies and help startups get up and running quickly.
">Key Responsibilities
">* Interact with CxO/VP level executives, developers, and technical architects to ease adoption, develop pipeline, secure lighthouse customers, drive top-line revenue, and explore strategic partnerships.
* Become a trusted advisor within customer accounts through Technical Thought Leadership.
* Develop and deploy programs that leverage AWS Field Solution Architect teams, as well as technology and consulting partner channels.
* Collaborate with AWS Product and Technical teams to create solutions that solve customer problems, including reference architectures, patterns, automation, and release plan.
* Guide and Support an AWS internal community of technical subject matter experts aligned to your domains. Create field enablement materials for the broader SA population to help them understand how to integrate new AWS solutions into customer architectures.
* Leverage your deep technical expertise in databases to understand the most important customer problems in the Startup space and enable account aligned teams in the field to solve them.
A Day in the Life
">You will have the opportunity to work closely with startups, understanding their challenges and developing innovative solutions to help them grow. You will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to create comprehensive solutions that meet the needs of our customers.

">* Competitive salary range: $140,000 - $180,000 per year

Requirements
">To be successful in this role, you will need:
">* 7+ years of experience in designing and implementing distributed applications
* 5+ years of experience managing technical resources and collaborating with cross-functional teams
* 5+ years of technical experience in database management systems such as relational databases, NoSQL databases, and data warehouse solutions
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
* Strong technical skills, including cloud computing, database design, and software development
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
