About the Opportunity

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Project Manager to deliver projects within Defence or similar government Agencies. The position may be embedded within Defence, acting on behalf of the client or as a Project Management/ Contract Administration (PMCA), spanning across a range of Defence areas.

The ideal candidate will have experience in Building and Construction, Infrastructure, Contract Management, Refit, Property Management and similar. This position is based in Griffith, Canberra, with a fast-paced team that specialises in the delivery of large complex projects.

  • A tertiary qualification in Construction, Architectural, Engineering, or similar is desirable;
  • Strong understanding and proven experience with a range of delivery methodologies, in particular, Head Contract, Managing Contractor and Design and Construct is preferable;
  • Previous experience across Defence, including Defence writing skills;
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills;
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams and manage and grow business relationships;
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks in a timely manner;
  • Proactive and able to think strategically;
  • Australian Citizen and able to successfully obtain and maintain a minimum Baseline Security Clearance.
