Maternity Services Leadership Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Midwife to lead our maternity services team.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the Birth Unit and Special Care Nursery, working closely with obstetricians and midwives to deliver high-quality patient care. The role involves strategic planning, workforce development, quality improvement, and policy review.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Relevant registration with AHPRA as a Midwife
  • 5+ years birth unit midwifery clinical care experience
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Able to build strong relationships with obstetricians and paediatricians
  • Leadership, employee engagement, and clinical excellence skills
