AHA is a leading hospitality association in Victoria, dedicated to supporting its members through various initiatives and partnerships.
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced General Manager – Commercial Operations to join our team. As a key member of the Leadership Team, you will contribute to the achievement of AHA's strategic objectives through identifying and negotiating revenue-generating commercial partnerships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Revenue Generation and Growth:
- Develop and execute a strategic plan to grow AHA revenues through nurturing existing commercial partnerships and negotiating new revenue opportunities.
- Cultivate effective relationships with existing and potential commercial partners to highlight the benefits of partnering with AHA.
- Negotiate partnership agreements and sponsorship packages that deliver tangible operational and/or financial benefits to AHA members.
- Reporting and Communication:
- Prepare reports for the CEO, Board, and Council detailing the performance of the commercial operations function in meeting agreed operational and financial objectives.
- Attend AHA Board meetings as required and Council Meetings to report on commercial operations activity and performance.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
The successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills, strong business acumen, and experience in developing and managing commercial partnerships. A proven track record in achieving revenue growth through strategic alliances and partnerships is essential.
