Site Care Assistant

We are seeking a motivated individual to fill a permanent role as a Site Care Assistant at our established centre in Preston.

The successful candidate will be passionate about assisting with the smooth running of the centre by providing exceptional care and support services.

This is a 37.5 hour, Monday-Friday position that requires a strong work ethic and ability to work independently.

Care Responsibilities
  • Maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of all areas, including floors, bathrooms and kitchens.
  • Ensuring the site is free from hazards and risks, and reporting any issues to management.
  • Providing laundry and linen services, including washing, drying and folding.
  • Dusting and tidying of all assigned areas, rooms and furniture.
  • Restocking bathroom essentials, such as toilet paper, soap and hand towels.
  • Maintaining inventory of cleaning supplies and materials.
  • Ensuring safe handling and storage of chemicals and cleaning products.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a similar role or equivalent qualification.
  • Current Working with Children Check or willingness to obtain.
  • Knowledge of cleaning products and safe handling practices, or willingness to learn.
  • Ability to follow directions, policies and procedures.
  • Strong Work Health and Safety focus and ability to work autonomously.
  • Flexible approach and excellent communication skills.
