Hospital Store Team Member

The Storeperson is responsible for receiving, storing, and issuing supplies to wards and departments at the hospital campus.
- Receiving and checking goods against delivery dockets and invoices
- Issuing stock to wards and departments as required
- Maintaining accurate records of stock levels and movement
- Participating in physical inventory counts and cycle counts as required
- Providing excellent customer service to hospital staff and patients
- Previous experience working in a warehouse or stores environment with knowledge of stock control and stores operations
- Good written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers
- Good time management and organisational skills with a demonstrated ability to prioritise workloads and be able to work autonomously when required
- Sound working knowledge and demonstrated application of Work Health and Safety requirements in a receiving dock/store environment
- Basic computer knowledge of Microsoft Office packages (or similar) and previous experience using electronic stock ordering equipment
- Current unrestricted driver's licence
This role involves working in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines. The successful applicant will be required to work collaboratively with other staff members to achieve goals and objectives.
