Production Ecosystem Manager Role

The Production Ecosystem Manager is a highly experienced professional responsible for leading the Underwater Systems team in Rydalmere, driving performance in delivery on time, cost, quality, and continuous improvement.

This leadership role involves ensuring the functional management of the production process, including interface and management of support functions, standard cost maintenance, and proposal of areas for improvement. Key responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring the entire production ecosystem operates efficiently.
  • Developing and supporting Team Leaders to increase autonomy.
  • Managing support functions allocated in the APRU at the pace of production.
  • Maintaining standard costs and proposing areas for improvement.
  • Optimising production/repair and investigating work in progress by taking steps to improve productivity and reduce rework.

To succeed in this role, you should have a qualified degree in a relevant field, strong technical knowledge of electro mechanical products, and experience with supply chain principles and industrial management control. Additionally, you should be proficient in implementing continuous improvement tools, using digital tools/dashboards, and possessing strong leadership and communication skills. This role also requires participation in Supply Chain reviews and promoting LEAN transformation approaches.
