About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Optical Dispenser and Keyholder to join our team at Oscar Wylee Pty. As a key member of our store team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and delivering a unique and fashionable product to our customers.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing eye care and eyewear styling advice to patients and prospective clientele.
  • Dispensing lenses and frames per prescriptions provided by our Optometrists.
  • Building meaningful relationships with our clientele that gives them a reason to visit us again.
  • Assisting with opening and closing procedures.

About the Person

We are looking for a candidate with:

  • 1+ years experience in optical, or 2+ years retail sales experience
  • Previously entrusted with store opening/closing duties
  • Strong attention to detail and basic mathematical skills
  • Confident, clear, and effective communication skills
  • Capable of building trusting and respectful relationships
  • Self-motivated, positive, and friendly manner

Optical Dispensing Certificate IV is highly desired but not essential.

We offer a great opportunity for someone looking to continue to grow beyond a customer-facing role, and we are often able to support relocation to meet the work-life needs of our staff.
