Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Strategic Lending Policy Director to join our team and drive commercial lending growth in the healthcare sector.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement leading lending policies and processes to support business growth.
  • Draft and review policies to improve decision-making, simplify processes, and enhance risk outcomes.
  • Establish and manage relationships with stakeholders to achieve governance and policy outcomes.
  • Conduct analysis and research to drive improvement and adoption of best practices in governance and policy lifecycle management.
  • Partner with frontline teams to ensure best practice lending deal structuring, portfolio management, and customer engagement.
  • Develop market-leading lending strategies to support business evolution into new areas of lending specialization.
  • Collaborate with Credit Risk teams to identify key risk themes and contribute to risk initiatives.
  • Build a network of internal and external contacts to provide industry knowledge and insights for presentations, reviews, and reporting documents.

About You

  • Extensive experience in commercial lending credit applications.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills with a strong customer service focus.
  • Able to work in high-pressure environments and deliver results under tight deadlines.
  • Strong time management and prioritization skills with a focus on outcomes.
  • Excellent analytical, planning, organizing, evaluation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Capable of sourcing relevant information from large networks of contacts.
  • Experience within financial services, risk management, credit risk, and healthcare highly regarded.
  • Exceptional presentation skills.

Estimated Salary Range: $180,000 - $250,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
