Forensic Intervention Services Clinician Job Description
">Forensic Intervention Services (FIS) is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Psychologist to join our team as a Clinician. This is an exciting opportunity to work on complex cases with individuals who have histories of violent and sexual offending, contributing to reducing reoffending and making the community safer.
">Job Description">As a Clinician, you will be responsible for delivering best-practice forensic intervention in a correctional environment. You will work within the Risk-Needs-Responsivity model, conducting comprehensive assessments, clinical interviews, treatment interventions, and preparing reports for internal and external stakeholders.
">The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of psychological theories and models, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. They will also be able to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team and adapt to changing priorities.
">Required Skills and Qualifications">To be successful in this role, you will need to hold or be eligible for registration as a Psychologist with the Psychology Board of Australia. A current driver's license is also required.
