About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Practice Manager Liaison Officer to join our team at the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP). As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in supporting the delivery of our General Practice Training Program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as a liaison person between Practice Managers and the RACGP, providing a conduit for information flow and facilitating communication between the two parties.
  • Work closely with Practice Managers to understand their needs and provide support and guidance to ensure the successful delivery of the AGPT program.
  • Contribute to the development and improvement of business processes, championing new processes and resources and gathering feedback from Practice Managers.
  • Provide updates to RACGP management as requested, ensuring that all stakeholders are informed and up-to-date.
Requirements
  • Current Practice Manager at a practice with GP registrars.
  • Passion for assisting registrars and GP training.
  • Good working knowledge of requirements for the AGPT program.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team environment and independently.

About You

As our Practice Manager Liaison Officer, you'll have highly developed communication and interpersonal skills with extensive exposure working in a General Practice environment and have experience or an interest in medical education. To thrive in this role, you'll have:

  • Current Practice Manager at a practice with GP registrars.
  • Passion for assisting registrars and GP training.
  • Good working knowledge of requirements for the AGPT program.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team environment and independently.
About the Opportunity

Reporting to the Regional Operations Manager, you'll act as a liaison person between Practice Managers and the RACGP. In addition, you'll:

  • Act as a conduit for information flow between RACGP and Practice Managers.
  • Have a willingness to actively participate in planning activities.
  • Contribute to developing and improving the business process.
  • Champion new processes/resources and gather feedback from Practice Managers.
  • Provide updates to RACGP management as requested.
