Director - Finance Systems

We are seeking an experienced professional to lead our finance systems team and drive strategic initiatives to support our organization's goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain key financial systems and projects to ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Provide high-level advice to senior stakeholders on financial systems and processes.
  • Lead a team in developing and implementing financial systems, including budgeting and forecasting.
  • Play a strategic role in improving finance processes and delivering responsive support to business units.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience in finance systems improvement projects.
  • Strong background in financial or management accounting roles.
  • High-level analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities effectively.
  • Commitment to public service values, equity, and workplace safety.

Qualifications:

  • Tertiary qualification in accounting/finance, with CAANZ or CPA Australia membership highly desirable.
