The Field Education Liaison Officer is a key role that supports Master of Social Work (Qualifying) students during placement. This position acts as a bridge between the college, students, and field agencies.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Coordinating student support and evaluating activities as the primary contact for fieldwork placements
  • Conducting site visits & evaluations to check in with social work students and field supervisors
  • Managing placement records, assessing student performance, and identifying/addressing placement issues promptly
  • Ensuring educational & ethical standards are met by helping integrate social work theory with practice and facilitating reflective learning through supervision and feedback
