Job Description

Key Responsibilities


  • Provide Legal Support: Offer daily legal guidance across various business areas, including product development, funding, procurement, finance, marketing, technology, customer resolutions, and sales.
  • Contract Management: Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements with vendors, technology partners, and other stakeholders.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Monitor regulatory changes and advise on implementation to ensure Prospa remains compliant.
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate potential legal risks associated with our operations.
  • Policy Development: Create and implement legal policies and procedures to protect Prospa's interests.
  • Relationship Management: Build and maintain relationships with external counsel and vendors.
  • Training and Development: Provide administrative support for company secretarial services and offer training on legal matters as needed.


Requirements


  • Qualifications: Tertiary qualifications in law and an Australia qualified lawyer with a current practising certificate.
  • Experience: Demonstrated 3-5 years PQE with a recognised Australian law firm or in-house legal team.
  • Skills: Strong understanding of contract law and corporate law, experience in the financial legal and regulatory environment, and attention to detail.
