Job Overview

This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Communications Manager to join our team and contribute to the development of key communications strategies.

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting both internal and external communications across the organisation, reporting directly to the Head of Client and Market Development.

The role offers a lot of variety and the opportunity to shape communications strategies, take real ownership and bring new ideas to a high-profile institution that interacts with clients, senior stakeholders and government bodies.

Main Responsibilities
  • Content Development: Develop original content and draw on material produced by experts in investment, using various media such as video and webinars.
  • Digital Tool Management: Maintain and update key digital tools, including the company website, LinkedIn page and internal portals.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Engage proactively with key stakeholders (internally and externally), educate them and manage media relations.
  • Annual Report and Client Materials: Support the development of the organisation's Annual Report and client-related materials.
  • Client Events: Assist with client events, including Investment Forums, and related communications.
  • Internal Communications: Work closely with the Executive Leadership Team and various teams across the business to support internal communications and the delivery of key content.
What You'll Bring
  • A proven track record in delivering high-quality corporate communications for both internal and external parties.
  • Experience working with senior stakeholders and ability to build relationships across all levels of staff/teams.
  • True self-starter and ability to think strategically while executing day-to-day communication activities.
  • Familiarity with managing media relations and experience using digital tools.
  • Experience in financial services would be preferred but not necessary.
  • Knowledge of the Victorian government and public sector communication processes would be an advantage.
