Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our food services team as a Culinary Support Assistant. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and providing exceptional customer service.

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with meal preparation, presentation, and service, as well as general cleaning and kitchen duties. Experience in aged care would be advantageous, but not essential. The role requires flexibility in availability to work shifts across seven days a week.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, basic cooking and food preparation skills, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team. You will also require physical stamina to perform manual handling tasks and be willing to undergo background checks and vaccination requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing exceptional customer service to residents, patients, visitors, and staff.
  • Preparing and presenting healthy, well-balanced meals for patients and residents.
  • Cleaning and maintaining kitchen equipment and facilities.
  • Working effectively as part of a team to achieve quality and efficiency goals.
  • Participating in ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
