Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Graduate Structural Engineer to join our team.

">About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a graduate engineer looking to gain hands-on experience in building design within a supportive consultancy environment.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of engineering principles, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to apply theoretical knowledge to practical situations.

  • Work on simple projects or sections of projects, progressing towards responsibility for project sections
  • Utilize standard engineering techniques to solve problems
  • Assist senior engineers with analysis, design production, and calculations
  • Prepare detailed calculations and analysis of building structures
  • Collaborate with senior engineers on the preparation of specifications, fee proposals, reports, and other documentation under close supervision
  • Liaise and coordinate with builders, architects, and services engineers on design issues under senior engineer supervision

The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in engineering, graduate membership with Engineers Australia, and a solid understanding of BCA and relevant Australian Standards.

To be successful in this role, you should possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
