Followmont Transport is seeking a skilled and experienced Local HR Driver to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for safely operating a HR Tautliner truck to complete pick-ups and deliveries around the Sydney Metro area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate a HR Tautliner truck to complete pick-ups and deliveries in a timely and efficient manner.
- Ensure all cargo is properly secured and transported safely.
- Perform pre- and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle is in good working condition.
- Communicate effectively with customers and colleagues to ensure smooth delivery of goods.
- Meet or exceed performance standards and company expectations.
Requirements:
- Must hold a valid HR License.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and criminal history check.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physical ability to lift and move cargo as required.
