Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Supervisor to join our Mining & Minerals South West Team. As a Mechanical Supervisor, you will be responsible for coordinating and supervising daily activities of your work crews, ensuring compliance with internal, client, and legislative HSE requirements, as well as ensuring the quality, production, and environment requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and supervise daily activities of work crews
  • Ensure compliance with internal, client, and legislative HSE requirements
  • Ensure quality, production, and environment requirements are met
  • Develop and implement plans for maintenance and shutdown works
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals
  • Monitor and report on project progress and performance
Requirements
  • Mechanical trade certificate and licenses
  • Previous supervisory experience in the mining industry
  • Experience working on a variety of projects and maintenance/shutdown works
  • Ability to demonstrate planning and organization skills with the capability to work effectively under pressure
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to deliver a message effectively
  • Dedication to the safety, well-being, and future development of your team
  • A proactive and motivated approach while maintaining the ability to work under pressure
