Job Opportunity:
DIALOG Fitzroy Ltd is seeking a skilled Mechanical Fitter to join our team in Townsville, North Queensland. As a Mechanical Fitter, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks including:
- Interpreting workshop and engineering drawings
- Prioritizing work tasks and managing preventative and reactive maintenance requests
- Fitting and assembling components, including hydro testing pipe work
- Working unsupervised and as part of a team
- Performing minor fabrication and machining as required
Requirements:
- Australian Recognised Trade Certificate (Mechanical Fitters)
- Experience in the Oil & Gas Industry
- High Risk Work Licence (Preference for WP, LF)
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Current Work at Heights and Confined Space Entry tickets
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Valid Australian Driver's Licence
- Relevant Industry Tickets - Construction White Card
Pre-Employment Requisites:
- Able to pass Drug and Alcohol Screening along with a Pre-Employment Medical
