About the Role

As a Support Worker, you will create an environment where customers' choices are paramount in a supported independent living (SIL) setting. This means helping our customers to build and live the life they choose. Each house has a different personality and rhythm. Tasks could include:

  • Providing personal care and medication administration
  • Using manual handling equipment to support clients with movement
  • Accompanying customers to appointments and adhering to specialist plans
  • Adapting communication approaches to include non-verbal customers

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Reliability and a commitment to making a positive impact on customers' lives
  • Experience in helping people to live their best lives, preferably in disability services or aged care
  • Good availability, with a willingness to work a variety of shifts
  • A valid NSW Drivers C class licence and willingness to transport customers
  • Understanding of NDIS services and programs (although not essential)

Training and Support

We will provide full training to workers who are new to the sector, ensuring you have the skills and knowledge to best support our customers.
