About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Speech Pathologist to join our dynamic team of allied health professionals at Scope. As a Speech Pathologist, you will be working with a wide range of diagnoses, including Autism Spectrum Disorder, Global Developmental Delay, Cerebral Palsy, and Intellectual Disability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver goal-directed therapy to children and young people who are experiencing learning, language, sensory, intellectual, physical, and cognitive difficulties.
  • Work with school-aged children in primary and secondary schools across Barwon to deliver services and supports to students with physical disabilities or chronic health impairments.
  • Undertake communication assessments and interventions.
  • Provide evidence-based interventions and services that build on customers' strengths and develop sustainable long-term solutions.
  • Emphasize parent, teacher, and carer education to nurture change.
  • Collaborate with a dynamic team of speech pathologists, physiotherapists, and occupational therapists to provide holistic customer care.
About You
  • You are an experienced clinician with relevant experience in disability and/or community services.
  • You are committed to family and person-centred approaches, supporting inclusion and participation.
  • You have excellent communication skills and the ability to work within a team environment.
  • You are registered with SPA.

Requirements
  • Current Driver's License and your own vehicle.
  • Satisfactory Working With Children's Check (Employee).
  • Registered with SPA.
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check Clearance.
  • COVID-19 digital certificate.
  • If you have lived or worked for a continuous period of 12 months or more in another country within the last 10 years, a certified International Police Check from that country or countries.
