Speech Pathologist

We are seeking an experienced Speech Pathologist to join our dynamic team of allied health professionals at Scope. As a Speech Pathologist, you will be working with a wide range of diagnoses, including Autism Spectrum Disorder, Global Developmental Delay, Cerebral Palsy, and Intellectual Disability.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver goal-directed therapy to children and young people who are experiencing learning, language, sensory, intellectual, physical, and cognitive difficulties.
- Work with school-aged children in primary and secondary schools across Barwon to deliver services and supports to students with physical disabilities or chronic health impairments.
- Undertake communication assessments and interventions.
- Provide evidence-based interventions and services that build on customers' strengths and develop sustainable long-term solutions.
- Emphasize parent, teacher, and carer education to nurture change.
- Collaborate with a dynamic team of speech pathologists, physiotherapists, and occupational therapists to provide holistic customer care.
- You are an experienced clinician with relevant experience in disability and/or community services.
- You are committed to family and person-centred approaches, supporting inclusion and participation.
- You have excellent communication skills and the ability to work within a team environment.
- You are registered with SPA.
