About the Role:
This position entails a highly skilled classroom practitioner who assumes leadership and management responsibilities aligned with their salary range. The primary objective is to enhance the skill, knowledge, and performance of the teaching workforce in a school or group of schools and improve the curriculum program.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage whole-school improvement initiatives according to the school strategic plan and priorities.
- Develop and implement strategies for curriculum planning and delivery at the whole-school level.
- Provide professional development and create individual and team development plans for teaching staff within the school's priorities.
- Manage staff performance and development, including reviewing staff and providing feedback on student learning growth and achievement.
- Contribute to the overall leadership and management of the school.
The successful candidate will have a direct impact on the school's goals and contribute significantly to policy development related to teaching and learning.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
To excel in this role, you must possess excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. A strong understanding of curriculum planning and implementation, as well as experience in staff development and performance management, are essential.
