About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our logistics team as a Warehouse Trainee. The successful candidate will enjoy working in an open, friendly, and social culture while completing a nationally recognized qualification - Certificate III Transport & Logistics (Warehousing & Storage).

Key Responsibilities

The Warehouse Trainee will be responsible for:

• Receiving and storing stock
• Picking and packing orders
• Issuing spares and equipment
• Investigating and recording discrepancies
• Delivering stock to designated areas
• Processing and assessing incoming stock and quotes
• Conducting stocktakes and cycle counts
• Providing assistance to other team members as required

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

• Basic computer skills, including the ability to use Excel and Word
• Some experience in customer service
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Benefits

This is an excellent opportunity for school leavers or those with junior warehousing experience to kick-start their career. The successful candidate will be employed on a 24-month contract and will have the opportunity to complete a traineeship during this time.

Remuneration

The salary for this role is estimated to be around $45,000 - $60,000 per annum, depending on experience. This is in accordance with the Airline Operations (Ground Staff) Award 2020.
