Your Responsibilities:
- Perform a variety of office-based administrative duties and provide non-technical support to tradespersons and local Defence clientele in our advanced maintenance facilities.
- Oversee the daily operations of customer-facing reception areas.
- Compile and manage inventory records, preparing requisitions for the procurement of materials and supplies, and assist in the ordering and expediting of repair parts for various ADF fleets.
- Utilize Commonwealth-managed systems for specific tasks, such as cargo visibility, to manage, track, and expedite repair parts.
- Assist in planning and scheduling maintenance activities.
- Support the administration and management of Commonwealth Supply Customer Accounts (SCAs).
- Facilitate tradespersons by performing work order management and data entry tasks within Commonwealth Mandated Information Systems.
- Assist management in preparing written work schedules based on established guidelines and ADF priorities.
About You:
- Demonstrated administrative experience in a similar capacity within a workshop setting (Desirable).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook (Essential).
- Strong planning, organizational, and communication skills (Essential).
- Proven ability to maintain accurate records, reports, schedules, and information management systems (Essential).
- A proactive, 'can-do' attitude while working within a large team environment (Essential).
- Possession of a current Australian State or territory class C Driver's Licence.
