- Establish strong relationships with Aboriginal Medical Services, communities, NSW Health, and governance bodies.
- Coordinate the co-design, development, and implementation of a precision medicine program.
- Lead capacity building activities, including community engagement, educational resource development, and workforce training.
- Ensure cultural and scientific integrity through governance, ethics, and evaluation processes.
- Contribute to Indigenous genomics policy, advocacy, and knowledge translation efforts.
As a skilled project manager, you have experience working in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health and research, particularly within NSW. A strong commitment to Indigenous leadership, cultural safety, and community engagement is essential.
- Experience in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health, research, or health promotion.
- Able to manage complex stakeholder relationships and work effectively with Aboriginal communities.
- Skills in co-design, program development, implementation, and evaluation are necessary.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and report writing skills are required.
- Qualifications in public health, health promotion, or equivalent experience are desired.
