About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Kitchen Assistant in a busy aged care facility.

  • This is a great opportunity for someone with a passion for food preparation and presentation, who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and interacting with residents and staff.

Responsibilities will include assisting in meal preparation, maintaining kitchen cleanliness, and ensuring high standards of hygiene are maintained.

This is a permanent part-time role, working 30 hours per fortnight across two weeks. The successful candidate will have a 'can-do' attitude, be reliable and possess excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation and presentation of meals
  • Maintain kitchen cleanliness and hygiene standards
  • Ensure required ingredients are available daily
  • Collect and wash pots, pans, crockery and cutlery
