About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Hospital Cleaner to join our team at Small Animal Specialist Hospital (SASH). As a Hospital Cleaner, you will play a vital role in maintaining a clean and safe environment for our patients and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain a high level of cleanliness in all areas of the hospital, including patient rooms, corridors, and public areas.
- Ensure infection control standards are met at all times.
- Perform general cleaning tasks, including scrubbing surfaces, dusting, mopping, vacuuming, and cleaning toilets.
- Restock consumables and perform laundry duties as required.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in commercial cleaning.
- Previous experience in a hospital or aged care environment is highly regarded.
- A commitment to safety and an understanding of safe chemical use.
- Proven ability to take initiative and prioritize tasks effectively.
- An ability to work autonomously when required and be a great team player.
- A passion for providing a high standard of care.
- The ability to work a flexible schedule if required.
