Salary and BenefitsWe offer an above-award salary, generous bonus scheme, benefits, and annual salary review. You will also receive $5,000 per year towards external Board Approved Supervision for internships and 20% off COPP (College of Professional Psychology) fees.
Job DescriptionAs a Rehabilitation Counsellor, you will identify and address physical, psychological, social, environmental, and organisational risk factors that impact a worker's ability to return to work. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Completing return to work case management for injured workers under the WorkCover scheme.
- Providing holistic support to restore an individual's highest level of functional performance through assessments such as Initial Needs Assessment, Functional Capacity Evaluations, Workplace Assessments, and Vocational Assessments.
- Delivering Vocational Counselling and facilitating interventions, well-being programs, training, and upskilling.
- Collaborating with individuals, employers, medical professionals, and other allied health professionals.
Our estimated salary range for this role is $85,000 - $110,000 per annum, based on industry standards and location.
Required Skills and QualificationsTo succeed in this role, you will need:
- ASORC full or associate membership as a Rehabilitation Counsellor, supported by a relevant qualification.
- A current drivers' licence and access to your own transport.
- The ability to obtain a Police Clearance and Working with Children Check.
