Grounds Maintenance Professional

The role of the Grounds Maintenance Professional operates on a Drive-In-Drive-Out (DIDO) roster of 2 weeks on, 1 week off.
Key Responsibilities:- Maintain the grounds of the Mining Village, including gardens, paths, and buildings.
- Perform general works and maintenance programs such as mowing, general grounds works, grounds cleaning, and landfill activities.
- Carry out waste and landfill duties as required and directed by management.
- Ensure that works programs are maintained to the level set per contract specifications.
- Maintain the safety of personnel and the public.
- Able to demonstrate knowledge of Safe Work Practices.
- Experience in grounds work (mowing, weed spraying, etc.).
- Able to obtain a police check.
- Hold or be willing to obtain a Queensland Coal Board Medical and functional assessment.
- Able to work in a team environment and in a fast-paced, time-managed environment.
- Be conditioned to extreme weather in Central QLD.
- Australian driver's license and reliable transport to get to the site.
- Forklift license is desirable.
This opportunity requires an individual with strong organisational skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team, and excellent communication skills.
