Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team in the Shepparton area. The successful candidate will focus on supporting clients living in Shepparton and surrounding locations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a caseload and provide evidence-based therapeutic supports in a timely manner
  • Assess clients' emotional, psychological, cognitive, developmental, and physical level of function and capacity through clinical observations and standardized assessments
  • Interpret findings to formulate treatment goals unique to each client
  • Provide support and advice on adaptations to the environment, including home, school, work, and residential facilities
  • Recommend provision of Assistive Technology to assist clients with functional limitations and promote independence

Requirements

  • Possess a positive, can-do approach and mindset
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, clients, and their support networks to make a real and lasting difference
  • Strive for continuous improvement of our practices and outcomes
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain consistent and regular contact with all stakeholders
  • Current driver's license and own reliable vehicle

Qualifications

  • Degree-qualified Occupational Therapist
  • Current full registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
