Graduate Refrigeration Engineer

Job Description: We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Graduate Refrigeration Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering department, you will play a crucial role in supporting industrial refrigeration projects, engineering design, and client solutions.

  • Develop and execute engineering calculations and designs for refrigeration solutions to meet client needs.
  • Create detailed estimates for minor project work, including tender submissions that meet client specifications and deadlines.
  • Evaluate existing refrigeration plants and assist clients in modifying systems as required, ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Market all services to customers, focusing on customer support and fostering long-term relationships.
  • Manage project timelines, negotiate with suppliers, coordinate designs, procure materials, and ensure successful project completion.
  • Monitor and control project costs, ensuring timely delivery and meeting client expectations.
  • Conduct risk assessments for equipment and project work, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.

About You:

  • Possess a tertiary qualification (minimum B.Eng.) in Mechanical, Process, or Chemical Engineering.
  • Have a conceptual understanding of creating, reading, and interpreting drawings.
  • Excel in written and verbal communication skills, with a proactive approach to working autonomously.
