We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Operations Manager to join our dynamic team at SAGE Group. As a key member of our manufacturing division, you will play a crucial role in driving innovation, improving performance, and guiding production staff to achieve exceptional results.

Reporting to the Head of Manufacturing, you will oversee all operational functions, including Stores management, and ensure seamless project execution. Your primary responsibilities include managing resources, scheduling, and supervising production staff.

  • Main Accountabilities:
  • Develop and implement the manufacturing operations plan to enhance performance across departments.
  • Regularly benchmark against world's best practice to drive innovation and challenge our current thinking.
  • Conduct toolbox meetings with the team for alignment on performance, company procedures, safety, and quality standards.
  • Manage resources within your team and support the Head of Manufacturing with recruitment and onboarding.
  • Collaborate with Project Managers to ensure project scope, commercial, and contractual terms are managed effectively.
  • Oversee costs to deliver projects/maintenance within budget constraints and identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Ensure the quality of project and maintenance deliverables meets our high standards.
Requirements
  • A relevant qualification as Electrotechnology Electrician and/or Electrical Engineering.
  • A minimum of 5 years proven manufacturing experience, preferably in the electrical industry.
  • Proven leadership experience in developing multi-functional manufacturing teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence others.
