The successful candidate will be part of a multidisciplinary team delivering advanced safety outcomes across the Defence landscape. Key responsibilities include leading safety engineering activities, developing and managing Safety Cases, Hazard Logs, and Risk Assessments, and providing input during system reviews.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safety Engineering Leadership: Guide and lead safety engineering activities aligned with Defence regulatory frameworks and project lifecycle requirements.
- System Safety Documentation: Develop and manage Safety Cases, Hazard Logs, and Risk Assessments, ensuring compliance and traceability.
- Verification & Support: Provide input during system reviews and ensure safety requirements are appropriately implemented and verified.
- Mentorship & Collaboration: Mentor junior engineers and project teams in applying safety engineering best practices across the Defence program.
