Sydney Airport welcomes around 40 million passengers each year, and we deliver a world-class experience for all passengers. We are seeking suitable candidates to perform duties as Aviation Screening Officers.

The role involves:

  • Providing exceptional customer service
  • X-Ray monitoring
  • Physical bag searches
  • Explosive trace detection (ETD)
Key Responsibilities

We will cover the cost of your training, including a Certificate II in Transport Security Protection (AVI20118) and 40 hours On-the-Job Training. The Certificate II in Transport Security Protection (TSP) is a nationally recognized qualification and is a requirement for all Aviation Screening Officers.

To progress into a permanent position, you must successfully complete the Certificate II in Transport Security Protection (TSP) and be deemed capable of making independent screening decisions after completing your On-the-Job Training.
