About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Site Supervisor to join our Remedial/Repair Division based in Brisbane. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing labour, plant, materials, and subcontractors on-site to ensure zero harm, zero defects, and on-time delivery.

You will play a crucial role in the successful delivery of various remedial projects across QLD, focusing on concrete works, remediation, and FRP with a strong emphasis on maintaining the highest safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead by example, fostering a strong safety culture and ensuring the consistent adoption of safe work procedures.
  • Develop and implement Quality, Safety, and Environmental (QSE) plans and work procedures in collaboration with the Project Engineer.
  • Apply your construction experience to enhance methods, adopting efficient and safe approaches to get the job done.
  • Supervise and manage on-site activities, supporting the site team in problem-solving and managing day-to-day operational risks.
  • Train and develop site teams, ensuring they have the right skills, attitude, and support to succeed.
  • Oversee team performance to meet safety, quality, and environmental standards.
  • Monitor site productivity and report to the Project Engineer, promptly identifying and addressing variations and delays.
  • Conduct safety pre-starts, toolbox talks, and inspections, and manage safety incidents in conjunction with the Project Engineer.
Qualifications and Experience

At least 5 years of supervisory experience within the construction industry, particularly in concrete works, steel repair, structural remediation, cathodic protection, and facade upgrades.

A high level of organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

A willingness to be a hands-on supervisor and work on the tools as needed.

A strong understanding of safety guidelines and regulations as they relate to construction projects.

Experience with safety documentation preparation and implementation.

A clean full driver's license.

EWP Ticket, high-risk license, and forklift license are advantageous.
