Occupational Therapist

The Riverland Mallee Coorong Local Health Network is seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team. As a Generalist Occupational Therapist, you will contribute to the delivery of a comprehensive and integrated range of health services, appropriate to the needs of the local community.
You will work as a member of a multi-professional team, including health professionals and service providers from other sectors, and utilize a combination of preventative, early intervention, treatment/therapy, and evaluation approaches. This includes providing services to sectors such as paediatrics, acute, residential care, aged & community consumers as needed.
Key Responsibilities- Plan, implement, and evaluate a comprehensive and integrated range of services, appropriate to the needs of the local community.
- Work as a member of a multi-professional team, including health professionals and service providers from other sectors.
- Utilize a combination of preventative, early intervention, treatment/therapy, and evaluation approaches.
- Provide services to sectors such as paediatrics, acute, residential care, aged & community consumers as needed.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- A recognised qualification within the Occupational Therapy profession.
- Eligibility for practicing membership of the relevant Professional Association.
- Registration requirements for those professions requiring Registration.
- Participation in the professional association accredited continuing professional development program for self-regulated professions.
