Job Opportunity

Saucony Australia & New Zealand is seeking an experienced leader to oversee a passionate team at our South Wharf Store.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced retail professional who is keen to progress in their career. The successful candidate will work closely with the Store Manager on driving high-performing and successful people, performance, and operations initiatives.

To be successful in this role, you should have experience in:

  • Ensuring efficient operation of stores to achieve optimal results in sales targets, KPIs, store presentation, visual merchandising, stock levels, wage control, and shrinkage.
  • Motivating your team to achieve optimal results in KPIs and added value targets across stores.
  • Closely monitoring store sales to achieve daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly targets - acknowledging outstanding results and identifying any areas of missed opportunity.
  • Effectively managing wage costs to weekly wage targets, company rostering standards, and following operational guidelines.
  • Coach and mentor your team to maintain high team morale and encourage the development of their store teams by ensuring training and succession plans are in place.
  • Ensure efficient Occupational Health and Safety management and adhere to state and national OH&S legislation.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Demonstrated Retail Assistant Store Manager or Key Holder experience in a fast-paced environment.
  • A motivated and driven attitude.
  • A passion for leading and inspiring a team to succeed.
  • The ability to think strategically to identify missed opportunities and have a proven track record in driving sales and KPIs.
  • A sound operational and strategical skill set and experience with stock control and visual merchandising.
  • Experience with effectively managing a roster and wage control.
  • Ability to build strong professional relationships with colleagues.
